July, A Month Away From the Track
I haven't been in the race car in a little over a month with the rainouts and off time included.  I have been bicycling a lot on some neat trails here in town with my brother and have been working my part-time job more like a regular full-time employee.  Also, I have been able to spend a lot more time with my girlfriend, who is usually unfortunate when it comes to seeing me during racing season.  While the time with her and the extra money has been nice, I have been ready to get back behind the wheel.
It has been a while since the last race at Five Flags and I still haven't forgotten the bad luck we were struck with and it’s still fresh on the minds of the crew and me!  We found a little something the last time there that was looking promising throughout practice and qualifying, but then, with the bad luck during the race, we weren't able to show our full potential.  So this coming weekend is going to mean a lot to us.

The time away has allowed me to clear my head and get a plan of attack on the last stretch of the season coming up.  We will be competing at new tracks and racing our Limited a couple of times before the season’s end.  I am also working on a few deals for next year and will be really focusing on our performance here in the future!  So, for all you following along, thank you and get ready for some more exciting racing!!!!

Thanks

Hey guys,

In racing, sometimes you find yourself with a week or two of downtime mid-season, and it’s kind of a nice treat.  This time allows you to regroup and get a few of the things that you need to do out of the way and you usually pick right back up.  Well, these past few weeks have presented more than enough time off for me and I am beginning to get a little stir crazy.
