Jeremy Colangelo Preps for Panhandle Doubleheader
East Coast Florida Driver Ready for Super Late Model Twin Bill
Jeremy Colangelo is getting ready to make his second trip to the Florida panhandle to compete in the Blizzard Super Late Model Series and the Miller Lite Super Late Model Series. Colangelo will be competing at Five Flags Speedway (FL) on Friday, May 22nd and Mobile Int’l Speedway (AL) on Saturday, May 23rd as he will be looking to improve on his results from last month after he logged a disappointing 26th at Five Flags and revengeful fifth-place finish at Mobile.

"After the last race there, I am ready to get back to Five Flags and get some redemption," said Colangelo.  "I feel as if I let my guys down in qualifying.  We had a great piece all day in practice and things were looking positive.   We know not to make that mistake and this time around I know we will be better."

Motor trouble was an issue for Colangelo’s team during their last trip to Mobile.  They will be making some changes this time around to avoid these issues.

"I promise we won’t be taking our spec motor back to Mobile," explained
Colangelo.  "On new tires those guys killed us. We know what we did wrong and I know what needs to be done on my end. We are ready for it now, both Pensacola and Mobile."

Colangelo is currently 12th in the Gulf Coast Series, a 10-race points fund between the two tracks.  With a pair of solid finishes, he could easily move up into the top 10 or higher.

Action starts on Friday, May 22nd at Five Flags Speedway and wraps up on Saturday, May 23rd at Mobile International Speedway (AL).
