Jeremy Colangelo Ends Up 11th After Wild Day at New Smyrna
Practice Wreck Sets the Tone for Wild Day of Racing
After his latest race, Jeremy Colangelo was just happy to leave New Smyrna Speedway (FL) at the end of the night. A string of bad luck that started in practice made the Billie Harvey Memorial 100 Super Late Model event at his home track a difficult task for the young driver to master. After slapping the wall in practice due to contact with a slower car, Colangelo’s team hung together to put their car back together for an 11th place finish.

‘It was a rough night to say the least,” said Colangelo. “Nothing really went the way we expected tonight, but hey that’s racing. We’ll take this car back to the shop and go over it and get it ready for the next race. We have a few weeks off so we’ll have plenty of time to get this car ready for the Blizzard Series.”
Jeremy Colangelo will be back in action on May 23rd and May 24th in the Gulf Coast Championship series with events at Five Flags Speedway (FL) on Friday May 23rd and Mobile International Speedway (AL) on May 24th.
