Colangelo Ends Up 17th at CRA SpeedFest
Deland, Florida, Driver Has Trouble Adapting to New Track
Lanier National Speedway in Braselton, Georgia, is one of the toughest tracks in the Southeast. Jeremy Colangelo will attest to that after his disappointing finish in the CRA Super Series SpeedFest 200. Colangelo ended up 17th on the final rundown and will use the event as a learning experience.

"I was a little down on my luck all weekend and we struggled,” said Colangelo. “The car was actually the best right after we unloaded it and we just weren't happy with it, so we threw everything at it and nothing seemed to click with it. We ended up starting the race 32nd and I think we ended up inside the top 20, so I was pretty pleased with that. My guys did a great job; they never gave up on me. Even when I was down on myself they were there lifting me up and stuff, so I was pretty pleased with it."
Colangelo will get to have some home cooking as his next event will be in his own backyard at the 43rd Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway (FL). The nine-night event will host eight Super Late Model events.
